Celebrating the launch of Sara Miller London x Portmeirion

Our new collection has arrived!
I was so excited to be able to celebrate the launch of our exquisite Chelsea, Etched leaves and Flamingo Collection yesterday with an exclusive event organised by Portmeirion at London’s Mondrian hotel.
Held in the picturesque location of the Dandelyan bar (which was just voted no.1 bar in the world) within the iconic hotel on the Southbank, it was fabulous to welcome press, bloggers and retailers to get up close and personal with our brand new ceramics collection.
Celebrating my infatuation with jewel tones, the brand new Chelsea tea collection is bursting with fuchsia, green, navy & dark grey all delicately embellished with the gold detailing that has become synonymous to us at Sara Miller London.
Hosting the launch at the Mondrian also held particular significance for me - it’s where I got married just over a year ago. Being able to share the launch of our brand new collection in the very same location was an incredibly special feeling and I still have to pinch myself when I think about how much Sara Miller London has grown in such a short space of time.
It was wonderful to have an opportunity to chat to some of our lovely guests (and loyal fans!), including @pinkhouseliving @thestepupclub @littlebigbell and @vanouten_denise over a cup of tea and a pastry (following by cocktails and canapes as the day wore on!), and share my excitement and inspiration for the new collection.
There’s so much more to come and I can’t wait to share the journey with you.

Hello! I’m Sara Miller, Creative Director and founder of Sara Miller London. I have over 10 years of experience working as a designer in the greeting card industry and decided a few years ago to take the plunge and set up on my own. Needless to say, it’s been an absolute whirlwind of a journey. With nearly 1000 products since our launch in Jan 2016 and numerous award wins (most recently winning the prestigious Best Licensed Fashion or Talent Brand for the third time in five years! Even going head-to-head with Becks) I still have to pinch myself that all this has really happened. I count my lucky stars that I can do a job I am so passionate about and hope that I continue to inspire others with my designs, making everyday a reason to live a colourful life.
